Pentru ca am racit si trebuie sa stau in casa cateva zile mi-am indulcit impul cu cateva filme vechi. Am vrut sa o vad pe Marilyn Monroe si am dat peste How to marry a millionaire (1953).
Filmul este una dintre cele mai cunoscute comedii romantice din istorie, dar nu despre asta vreau sa vorbesc.

As indrazni sa spun ca Lauren Bacall este ultima stea din epoca de aur a Hollywood-ului. Actrita cu origini romane, in varsta de 87 ani a jucat in peste 50 de filme, a scris 3 carti si a primit un Oscar pentru intreaga cariera.
Intr-un interviu acordat anul trecut pentru Vanity Fair actrita spune: “My son tells me, ‘Do you realize you are the last one? The last person who was an eyewitness to the golden age?’ Young people, even in Hollywood, ask me, ‘Were you really married to Humphrey Bogart?’ ‘Well, yes, I think I was,’ I reply. You realize yourself when you start reflecting—because I don’t live in the past, although your past is so much a part of what you are—that you can’t ignore it. But I don’t look at scrapbooks. I could show you some, but I’d have to climb ladders, and I can’t climb.”

Multumesc ca mi-ai adus aminte de un film minunat si o actrita uitata de multi dintre noi. Am urmarit-o cand eram mai mica in mai multe filme si cred ca am vazut-o si in cateva productii in care era mai invarsta.
:) pentru putin. Intr-adevar este o actrita minunata care isi traieste viata intr-un mod frumos si normal, dincolo de lumina reflectoarelor si paparazzi.
